Workwear that actually looks chic

Workwear that actually looks chic

Monday morning panic attack… I’ve got nothing to wear! Lately I’ve been really struggling with my workwear, so I decided to invest in a few key pieces that will help me make the most of my wardrobe.

Embrace the culottes this season. Whether they’re denim or linen, this silhouette is a knockout – it’s slimming and leg lengthening and will make for a great outfit option for more casual office environments this season. I’ve got mine from Dorothy Perkins and I’ve been literally living in them ever since – they’re comfortable and super versatile.

Another piece worth investing in is a shirt that leaves room for tons of styling variations. I’ve gone for a chic wrap shirt, fashionable and smart all at once, from Jigsaw AW16 pre-collection inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe. Although it might be a little pricier than your average white shirt, I genuinely think is a great buy that you’ll wear for years to come. I’m in love with the wrap over style of this crisp white shirt and the longline silhouette for a fresh take on workwear.

Styling bonus? This outfit looks equally awesome with flats, heels or sandals.
