Weekend getaway at Ragdale Hall

Weekend getaway at Ragdale Hall

It’s almost the May Bank holiday weekend. Hooray!! If you’re not quite sure what to do, look no further.

I’ve found a luxury space to relax, unwind and indulge. Ragdale Hall is a large and welcoming country house with a huge luxury spa, set in stunning gardens and grounds, not far away from busy London. Extensive facilities, charming staff, plus one restaurant serving delicious, healthy fresh food… Enough to keep you busy for days.

Ragdale call themselves a “health hydro and thermal spa” and offer a complete spa experience. The main indoor 25-metre pool has a waterfall feature, massage jets and a fantastic jacuzzi. The waterfall pool takes you outside , so you can bask in warm water out in the fresh air.

For those who want to get active, you can try the gym, Nordic walking, daily work-out and relaxation classes. Your body will love you for it.

Treatments on offer include a wide range of face and body therapies, as well as beauty treatments. With around 50 treatment rooms and 120 therapists, you can have almost any treatment you have ever heard of at Ragdale.

Don’t miss the beautiful and dimly lit Candle Pool, where you can lie back on your underwater seat, and float enjoying the gentle music and dim lights.

I loved my 40-minutes Clarins Serenity Facial, tailored and personalized for me. I left with soothed muscles and improved skin.

From the moment you step over the threshold, friendly smiles and calm efficiency ease your cares and stresses away to enable you to begin your Ragdale experience.

There are two relaxation rooms, along with a quiet time in your post-treatment bliss.

I didn’t love Having to leave! There is a consistent sense of peace throughout the Spa, so going back to the real world is a wrench.
