The boots that will make you want cold weather right now

Just because it’s freezing cold outside doesn’t mean you have to compromise your style or you can’t have as much fun getting dressed as you did during the warmer months. In fact, as much as I love a dress or a skirt, the endless layering possibilities that come with the chill of winter are more fun and exciting.

Dresses can be worn even in the middle of the winter, and all it takes to make them cozy enough is a little bit of layering knowledge. A pair of warm boots may very well be your best friend, too come winter. There’s a whole bunch of boot styles that are taking my fancy this season but there is one particular style that I love the most – the suede, ankle boots from Hush Puppies.  There’s something cool and stylish about them, and there’s no doubt that they’re the sartorial backbone of my seasonal wardrobe. Plus, because they’re a flat style, they are also super comfortable to wear all day long. Even the heeled boots from Hush Puppies are going to tick all the practical boxes without loosing style points. Happy days!

Mine come in a cool black camo print, made of stain-resistant suede, but I’m also loving the rich brown shade of my friend’s pair that gives her outfit a cute 70’s vibe.

Whether you team them with jeans at the weekend for a casual look, or toughen up a feminine dress a la Alexa Chung, everyone needs a pair. But of course, the best part has to be the price tag – the most expensive of my edit comes in at a cool £105. All in all, Hush Puppies latest boot collection couldn’t be better. I’ve rounded up my favourite styles so you can get your hands on a pair right away. Race you to the checkout!

Don’t forget to share your Hush Puppies buy with us, using #ShareTheWarmth. I’d love to see how you style them!
