Polo masterclass with Maserati & La Martina

Polo masterclass with Maserati & La Martina
Ahead of the prestigious Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy on the 11th of June, I was invited to join Maserati and La Martina for a very exciting polo masterclass with International polo player, Malcolm Borwick.

I was picked up early in the morning and driven in the NEW Maserati Levante to the Cortium Sports Polo Club near Haslemere. And before you ask – I’m not an experienced rider, in fact I’ve never ridden or played polo before, but I was really excited (and equally scared) to try my hand at this wonderful sport.

During our polo masterclass, we’ve learned the basics of this sport – including the different types of shots and swings, before mounting up on the ponies and put our new skills – and competitive spirit – to the test.

Polo is an extraordinary sport that many people think is inaccessible because of the need to be able to ride a horse, but believe me you’ll have a great time learning and potentially discover a new passion. I, for sure, will get in the saddle again soon!

Once our masterclass came to an end, we made our way to the grand barn for a tour of the stables and enjoyed a glass of Prosecco ahead of lunch. Before heading back to London, I’ve had the opportunity to have a closer look at the NEW Maserati Levante (launched in February) – an extraordinary, grand car which I’ve fallen in love with.

The Levante will likely become the best-selling Maserati of all time, thanks to its stylish and unique design, comfort and performance. With nearly every detail in the cabin oozing premium, this car deserves a lot of love!

Thank you Maserati and La Martina for a splendid day!
