If you’re anything like me, you love a relaxed shopping experience, away from the hustle and bustle of Central London, where you can find truly unique gifts. St Martin’s Courtyard is my version of a shopping paradise, nestled in the heart of West End, 2 minutes away from Covent Garden and Holborn.
A place where you can shop till you drop, pamper yourself, enjoy a delicious meal and most importantly (at least for me) beat the queues (read more time to sip my wine).
Shopping in St Martin’s Courtyard
Along the usual suspects – COS, L.K.Bennett, Massimo Dutti or Barbour – you’ll find truly unique brands like Eileen Fisher and Pretty Ballerinas.
Undoubtedly one of my favourite footwear brands, Pretty Ballerinas was one of the first shops we stopped by. Every time I visit this store, I fell in love more and more – the staff is always very helpful, the décor is stunning and the shoes, oh the shoes. I fell in love with Ella, a glitzy style that would make even Cinderella jealous.
We continued our shopping trip with a much needed pamper session at Blow Ltd, before our lunch break. Blow has always been my go-to blow dry bar in London. I don’t know exactly how to explain it, but I feel like at home. The stylists make me feel at ease, are bubbly and friendly. What’s not to love?
There’s no secret that I absolutely love Italian food (more than traditional Romanian too), so it comes as no surprise that I had the best time at Dalla Terra. A very insightful wine tasting, followed by a delicious antipasti plank and a mouth-watering beef steak.
For those of you who don’t know me or it’s the first time reading my blog (hello there!), my husband and I lived in Naples for 3 years and worked in hospitality (mainly Italian cuisine) before taking the plunge to turn Launeden into a full time job.
And naturally, after all the shopping and food, a soothing massage at Relax was the icing on the cake. We left feeling energised and ready to continue our day. What’s your favourite shopping destination?
