Why investing in a blush pink coat?

A pop of colour is guaranteed to brighten and lift up my spirits during the colder months. For many of us, bright colours are strictly reserved for Summer, but wearing a warm shade, like a blush pink, will elevate your outfit.

Pastels have reigned supreme on the designer catwalks for the past few seasons, and to my excitement they’re here to stay. A good reason to invest in a few key pieces, if you’d ask me.

Coats are the sartorial backbone of our wardrobes, so it’s essential to invest in the right one to suit not only your style and body shape, but also your lifestyle.

A recent addition to my closet, Lily by Grace & Oliver, is a trend-led piece thanks to its slightly oversize fit and double back detailing, but yet still classic and timeless thanks to its traditional peacot style.

It’s been reduced to £199, which I get isn’t the cheapest of coats, but I also get that a show-stopping piece like this one is well worth the price tag.

I’m wearing mine with flared jeans, a cream textured crop top from Keepsake The Label and a statement bracelet handbag from Charles & Keith. Speaking of classics and pieces well worth the investment, these flared jeans by Carven for La Redoute (read more about this collaboration here) are my absolute favourite. No pair does my petite frame justice quite like them.

So if you’re thinking to invest in this particular style, you’re going to have to think fast as I predict a sell-out!
