High-street that looks designer

This season’s 70’s comeback sees sumptuous fabrics and floaty bohemian dresses dancing on the runaways at Lanvin, Chloe and Alberta Feretti, channeling an eclectic traveller’s vibe.

Autumn has long been my favourite season, but I’ve never actually loved it so much until this year. In fact I’ve never been so excited to mingle with the latest Fall trends. The trick this Autumn is to layer up – try a chiffon maxi dress with a floral print, like this ‘could be designer’ dress from Marks & Spencer (at only £45 it won’t be there for long, so hurry) with a suede jacket or a supersized faux fur scarf with ankle boots. For the finishing touches, I opted for an understated chic clutch bag from Paul’s Boutique and piled on some dainty Astrid & Miyu jewellery.

Marks & Spencer’s Autumn/Winter15 offering is perfect for nailing the 70’s trend – and the celebrities seem to be loving it as well. I mean who can forget the gorgeous suede midi skirt that Alexa Chung rocked earlier in the year? I still can’t believe my luck, as I managed to snap the very last one in my size. So, if you’re in a desperate need to update your wardrobe, head to your local M&S store (you’ll thank me later!).
