The search for an outfit for the races can sometimes be a bit of a major fashion dilemma. Finding the perfect dress for the occasion is certainly easier said than done. Not only do you have to find a beautiful dress and make sure you stand out from the crowd in all the right ways, but you also have to take into consideration the dress code.
Less is always more and whilst you don’t want to end up looking too grown-up, it’s always important to keep it classy. A-line cuts and off-the-shoulder styles are always a flattering option for most body shapes, and if you’re weary of a stricter dress code mid and maxi lengths are a sure bet.
Luckily the past few years have brought nothing but glorious sunshine for Ladies Day however, bring a light blazer with you – you know how unpredictable the weather is in UK!
Gates open at 12PM for day one of Sandown Park’s two day event, the Summer Festival celebrating Ladies’ fashion and top class racing. The action kicks off at 13:50 with a seven race card – giving fans the chance to enjoy the thrilling drama and spectacle of the powerful equine athlets racing for glory. There are fantastic prizes on offer – including a trip to Barbados and tickets to see Olly Murs performing live at Sandown Park later in the Summer. Need I say more?
