Summer is here and so is the desire to shift those annoying extra pounds and get our legs ready for the hot season. It’s time to start thinking about baring our legs and showing off our perfect pins in flirty skirts and strappy sandals.

Split lunge with shoulder press

 Take a dumbbell in each hand, the weight is up to you – test yourself!

Hold one dumbbell above your head, keep the other by your side

Take a wide step back, bend your knees until the back knee is an inch from the ground

Make sure the core stays tight and front knee does not come passed the toes

Repeat for 10-12 reps, then switch and repeat the action on the other side

Results: Tones legs, butt, arms and core
