High-street label, La Redoute teamed up with Carven to create a capsule collection. Taking inspiration from the air-hostess uniforms that were created by the house’s founder, Madame Carven, in the 60’s and 70’s, the collection is predominantly focused on navy, black, and khaki, with hints of pastels and pops of red, featuring Carven’s signature nipped-in waists and precision-cut tailoring.
The pieces are wearable and timeless, with a touch of Parisian romantic charm.
Best buy? The black, bootcut trousers. I have to say I love a classic. And nothing serves my petite frame better than the timeless flared trousers. It offers round-the-clock comfort and works particularly well paired with a pussy-bow blouse. Another favourite of mine is the sleeveless, pleated top. The print makes it perfect for work worn on its own or with a blazer for a more formal approach.
Below you’ll find a round-up of my top picks, but hurry – I predict a sell-out!
