As the winter days draw near , my skin takes a down turn . And even people who don’t normally have dry skin can find the winter months a problem !
Changing your beauty routine is essential and compulsory – the same routine that worked during the summer will not help our skin through the chilly months .
Harsh weather and central heating affects the skin – I see a lot of women at this time of the year who are suffering from irritated skin , itching and redness .
So here are my top tips for the perfect winter skin regim :
- Spending more time on cleansing and exfoliation will often help dry , itchy skin as it stimulates micro-circulation which will lift dead skin cells and promote skin renewal – Montagne Jeunesse is my secret weapon , I love the Red Earth Clay Spa – Spa Argile Rouge in particular that delivers an unique , enhanced cleansing experience . Easy to apply , leaves your skin radiant and hydrated . The juicy boost will captivate your skin and senses !
- Follow with an oil-free serum , which penetrates skin more deeply than a moisturiser – I recommend Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Restorative Treatment Serum , protects against skin aggressors and helps soothe delicate skin .
- And don’t forget to keep applying your sun protection with a minimum of SPF30 . At night try using once a week a masque – treat yourself with Montagne Jeunesse luscious Red Strawberry Souffle mask that leaves skin hydrated and refreshed with strawberry Aloe Vera and Vanilla .
During the cold season I try to keep my skin moisturised and glowing by loading up on foods which are rich in essential vitamins and minerals – fruits and vegetables aplenty .
Oh , and my absolute favourite beauty rescue remedy is Beauty tea from Beauty’in – thanks to a clever combination of collagen and vitamins , this tea goes beyond and above my expectations .
The B-Renewed Beauty green tea with green grape is high in Vitamin E and fibre which promotes growth of probiotic microflora in the colon and strengthens immunity and mineral absorption as well as improving digestion . You’re welcome !
