Have you chosen to take a city break over a beach holiday this Summer? Keen to dig deeper into another city’s culture over a weekend? Then a short city break is a great holiday option for you.
Now is time to update your wardrobe with a few key pieces that will keep you casual and comfortable while sightseeing.
It’s challenging enough figuring out what to wear when you’re home and have full access to your closet, let alone when you’re travelling. The best clothes to wear when travelling must be chic, yet comfortable. Style tip? Go for key pieces that can be worn in different outfit combinations and beat those luggage restrictions.
And Boden’s Holiday Shop is exactly what you need for chic, key holiday pieces, comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. Comfort is a must when travelling, so I opted for a relaxed pair of culottes which are great because they’re super-soft, and slightly dressier than denim cutoffs. I then added a floral blazer from Oasis (I’ve literally made an obsession with Oasis latest drop) and a pair of Missguided jewelled sliders that guarantee my feet will stay blister-free throughout my weekend getaway – only £18! To carry a day’s worth of belongings (sunglasses, maps, water bottle and sunblock), I picked a lightweight, but surprisingly roomy backpack from Fiorelli.
What do you think of my take on how to dress for a short city break?
