As clouds give way to sunshine, it’s time to enjoy London at its brightest and best. Although considered to be outlandishly expensive, and sometimes with fair reasons – there are cocktails that cost the same as our weekly grocery shopping – a day out in London doesn’t have to involve spending a small fortune.
While those last-minute holiday plans looked tempting, this year I decided to put them on hold and enjoy the ultimate Easter break staycation at Jumeirah Carlton Tower instead. With an impossible-to-beat location in the heart of Knightsbridge, among the city’s finest luxury shopping, Jumeirah Carlton Tower is home to 216 rooms including 58 suites. I’ve recently been introduced to Amara, home to over 300 of the world’s most luxurious homeware brands. It was love at first (erm) click!
Mother’s Day is just around the corner, so it’s time to start shopping and show your mum how much you admire her. While I’m a firm believer that we should do what we can to make our mums feel loved every day of the year, Sunday 26th of March is a very special day, devoted to saying thank you to them for everything they do for us! And what better excuse to spoil them rotten?
The events of the last few months have proved that, however open-minded and conscious we think we are, we’re all guilty for the significant global environmental changes. This is undoubtedly a very controversial subject, but I believe that we should take time to hear different perspectives, so that we can tackle together the issues that impact all of us.
