A Valentine’s Day to remember

Impress your partner this Valentine’s Day and book a romantic table at Villandry’s St. James!

Avoid the “chain restaurant feel” rush and dine in an atmosphere of understated elegance beneath high ceilings, overlooking the Big Ben.

There is nothing I like more than French Mediterranean food cooked to perfection and that’s what Villandry is all about.

And as if I needed another excuse to dress up, they invited me last week to taste their fantastic Valentine’s Day St. James Special Menu.

Wearing a figure sculpting black dress from BrandAlley and my new covetable Britton mesh heels from Kurt Geiger I was welcomed with a glass of Jenkyn Place sparkling Rose, followed by the most delicious white crab salad I quite possibly had so far. The main course – venison fillet with savoy cabbage, bacon and winter vegetable, was sophisticated and accomplished, with a high degree of attention to detail and presentation. The highlight from this dish was the tender meat cooked to perfection!

I finished my meal with a mouth-watering white chocolate fondant served with fresh raspberries.

The Valentine’s Day Special Menu (£50/person) will be available on February 13th and 14th, along with a regular A la Carte menu.
